I hope you are safe and warm. We are covered in Ice until bout 4 this afternoon then we come out the other side with lots of rain for the upcoming week!
Love your newsletter. It makes my day! I'd join the App, but I have a sneaking suspicion I'd be on the phone all day. . . :) BTW saw a great article on the Blue Zones the other day. Have to send it on to you. . . :)
Thanks, Terrell!! Wishing you and yours the loveliest of holidays! Thanks for all that you do! Here's to even more running and community in 2023! 🎉🎉
Happy Holidays Terrell and all HM readers. I am so glad that I signed to your newsletter, thank you for bringing this community together and wish you a wonderful 2023 full of happiness and promises.
When I lived in Minnesota, we always had a white Christmas. I had nine brothers and sisters, so you can imagine how crazy the holidays were. My dad would pile everyone into the station wagon, and we headed to a tree lot to pick the perfect tree. Okay, it was never perfect, but we thought it was. We would haul down all the boxes from the attic and spend a weekend decorating the tree while my parents watched. Dad always had to move the ornaments and lights higher but did it after we'd gone to bed. We never had much, but what we did get, we treasured it. That may be a hundred years ago, but you always remember the Christmases when you were young. To all my new friends, have a wonderful and safe Holiday, and remember, our half marathon will be here before you know it!
Wishing you the happiest of holidays
The best to You and Yours for the Holiday!

I'm on the coast of North Carolina, 50 ft. Above sea level, very windy, 35 degrees, no precipitation. All in the teeth of the storms, take care.
You too! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
