Congratulations on your new member of the family!!! Pets are an important part of families, the loss of one is never easy. We lost 2 dogs within a week of each other, which was devastating. We ended up driving from Ohio to Florida to pick up our new member of the family. So I totally get driving long distances for a pet. It's just something you do when it's right.
