Reading through Henriette's Q&A was so inspirational! I'll be sure to come back to re-read whenever I feel like my age is getting in my own way. Thank you!
I really enjoyed this Q&A, thank you. I read her race report that came out a couple of days ago, about the trail race in Greece, and I can relate to a lot of her disappointment with slowing down balanced by the joy at being out there and participating in races.
Saw your email, Sarah (and have changed the comment settings, which I'd accidentally set to only paid). Great tips there, some of which I was already mindful of. But there's nothing like near-100-degree heat and relentless uphill to make certain plans and intentions fall by the wayside. That's the challenge, isn't it? To keep to the plan even as, ahem, you discover something like you can't stand the taste of fully 30% of your food supplies!
Great questions! I really enjoyed reading Henriette’s answers and imagining how I’d answer (very differently, for sure!). I just turned 60, started running 5+ years ago. This year I’ve been training more, getting stronger and crushing all my previous PRs. Gearing up for the Baltimore Half this October, planning to beat my 2019 time by 10 minutes or more.
I've been telling myself lately that surely ultras are for the old among us, because we don't have explosiveness anymore but can just go on forever. Right? Right?!
Great Q&A!

That's awesome!
Awesome thank you so much for sharing. I just hit 50 and looking for my first ultra. Only marathons so far. Thank you for the inspiration

Love this! I love reading about people and their lives. Can’t wait to read more. 👍🏼
FANTASTIC interview, Terrell. Great stuff. I'm looking forward to more of these. Cheers!
