I started running consistently last year of college, took a running class out of a whim and ran my first 5K! I tried to run once or twice every week but the 100F heat has made it hard to stick to the routine. I lke to run 3-4 miles each time and love it the most when I can run near water bodies: lakes, oceans, rivers.

Challenges: I can't seem to keep my running routine ... I would go for weeks without running and then get back and then be off that bandwagon :/ Any suggestions would be appreciated
I think that a running routine is a great thing, and I think one thing that would help you to build your routine is to try training for a race like a 5k. That will motivate you to train, because if you don't you probably won't run as fast or feel as good when your doing. If you run with no goal in mine it's easy to take days off which is what I have found in my running experience.
Welcome, Minh! This really is the eternal challenge for every runner, I think, especially when you have job/family responsibilities that take up lots of your time. I try to give myself a little grace and leeway, and not beat myself up if I'm not able to keep up my running schedule 100% of the time -- and just treat every Sunday/Monday as a blank page, the start of something new.
And yes, running in temperatures like you're experiencing is TOUGH. Do you have access to a treadmill? I bought one off Amazon a few years ago and it's been a lifesaver for me, especially during the summer.
