In a little less than two weeks, a group of us will get together in Richmond, Va., to run the Richmond Half Marathon. (There’s still time to sign up and join us, by the way!)
I can’t wait to meet up with each of you who are coming, and spend some time in-person together — I think this will be a blast, and set the stage for what I hope will become something we’ll do regularly.1
Today, though, I’d love to get a count of how many of you are coming the weekend of Nov. 10-12 to run with us in Richmond — feel free to either share your answer in the comments, or reply back directly to me in an email.
This will help us plan for the weekend, as one locally-based subscriber has volunteered to help organize a dinner and get-together on Friday night before the race — and for race day, so we can plan to run together and/or meet up at the finish.
Just let me know if you’re coming with a quick note or comment — thanks so much!
Your friend,
— Terrell
In fact, I’ve already heard from one subscriber a suggestion for next spring: the Eugene Half Marathon in Eugene, Ore., set for April 28, 2024.
Will not be in Richmond, but I look forward to seeing all of you in Eugene, OR for a long week April 26th through the 28th. Right now there is $10 off the Half and Full on the 28th Use the code: RUNEM2024 to get $10 off the marathon and half marathon distances. Have fun!
I'll be running the 5K Run to Stay Warm on the 19th of November. . . My first in person since 2021!!
I'll be running Richmond this year. Ran it previously in 2019.
