That's SO the challenge with the modern lives we live, I agree. They're disconnected and busy and stressful in a way that, I'm coming to believe, we're just not evolved to live. Or, at least, we haven't been for most of our species' history -- for many thousands of years we lived in these small groups, where you didn't have to seek out company/community with other people. It was always *right there* in front of you, all the time. Now, we have to be intentional about it, or at least most of us do. It's something I'm still thinking about a lot.
