Great stuff Terrell - glad to be back on your subscriber train. I'm more into cycling lately, but add me to the fans who like when you stray (preferably with sport, athlete or workout inspiration - and yes sports films count!)

I have a question. My wife and I have been running for approximately 10 years both wearing garmin watches we run anyhere from 10k to half marathons with the odd marathon. I’m curious as to what everyone else is wearing and why they choose the watch that they are wearing

Hey there Scott! 👋

Here’s a previous discussion thread we had on exactly this, where readers shared what they wear and why — hope this is what you’re looking for!

If only we are able to realize those moments at those moments. Appreciate the deviation from the “norm”.

Thank you sir for this thought provoking story. Today is a gift from God. It is why its called --the present. What I do with it often reflects if I believe this or not. Some days I do well. Others, I lay my head on the pillow and think, I missed it. Stories like this one are great reminders to live life to its fullest every day remembering that today truly is a gift.

Terrell,

I apologize, for I have not been truly present here lately. Nothing's wrong but life has become a little busy. I'm almost out of "it" and, while I really haven't been able to get what I look at as enough running in, I've still been able to be active [2nd job - basketball referee - keeps me a bit busy].

This went over well. It's what I needed to be reminded of for it's easy to simply "do" whereas trying to do too much.

Simply, THANK YOU.

No need to apologize at all, Stan! Great to see you whenever you have a moment, my friend. Do not feel pressure at all 😃

And Tennessee is still covered by dense fog, and I suspect you have rain. . . Beautiful story, Terrell. Love it when you deviate into some other field than sports and running. Are all professors like that? Mine sure were and I do count my blessings that they kept me on the right path.

Speaking of running, I'll be running the 5K with you on Saturday in Eugene. I'm signed up for the Half Marathon, too! Who knows if I can do even one, but I'm sure going to try. It is warmer now, the rain has not left, 66 on Sunday, so they say.

I guess Marathon week gets pretty busy here in Eugene. They even have it posted on their webpage to make reservations early.

Take care, thanks again for allowing us into your memory bank. :)

The Professor was an Angel from the movie, “City of Angels”. His message and my mantra “No Regrets, Only Love”. The only way to live a full life and die a good death in my humble opinion. Beautifully told Terrell. Love when you depart from the trail…

It'll be a fun run if nothing else! :) Such a big to-do here in Eugene. . . Do you get their newsletters? Seems like Eugene is on a lot of bucket lists!
