Pat Conroy offered us so many words to live by...an amazingly talented man taken from this world way too soon. Thanks for reminding us to cherish life's each and every shining moment. ⏳
Thank you, Bren! I loved his books too, was really sad when he passed. I got to hear him speak once at a bookstore in Atlanta. Just an amazing writer. What’s your favorite of his novels?
I loved them all for various reasons, but The Lords of Discipline is my favorite because he seemed to bare his soul in a way that I felt his anguish, etc.. right to my bones. Right up there with all the classics. Which is your favorite?
For me, it’s probably “The Prince of Tides” — but I also loved “My Losing Season,” even though it’s not fiction. It captured the reality of his relationship with his father so well; I still can’t believe they reconciled later!

Excited about the Petra race. I'll be there in a few weeks!
How cool is THAT?!!! Which race are you running?
The Petra Half sponsored by Albatros. If I survive the desert, I figured I'll try one per month (stateside though) :)
