Glad you are running again. These articles have helped me so much this year. Physical things that help my running like breathing. Mental things like challenging that inner voice or knowing when to take a break that help me stay happy. Can't express enough how glad I am to be a part of this community. Thank you.

Thank you so much, Brian! I'm so glad you're a part of it too. I'm looking forward to being more proactive about my running + health in 2022. I turn 51 soon, so it's been on my mind a lot. Lots to explore there!

Good you are back! Happy you are running again! A nice selection of reads for the past year, many that influenced my thoughts.

Much too cold, snowy and icy to get on the trails. This doesn't happen frequently, but a week of below freezing temps and snow covered trails can seem like an eternity to a person who runs or walks. Since there is little snow removal here in Seattle, one just waits! Fortunately, the New Year will bring above freezing temps and just rain. Maybe it will thaw out soon and 2022 will be a great year!

Thank you, Nilima! I totally get how a week of snow and ice on the ground can feel like forever. It's the same here in Atlanta -- all we can do is wait :) Definitely looking forward to next year too!

I could use the treadmill in the complex gym, but I'd have to look at ME in all the mirrors! No, thank you!! :)

May 2022 bring you, and your family and the legion of THM followers the best of health and success. I did what I set out to do … completed my 100th half marathon on 12/19/21 on the occasion of my 72nd birthday.
