Friday Thread: What do you want this holiday?
For Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice... whatever you celebrate!
Morning, friends! ☀️ It’s coooold here in Atlanta as I write this, on a day when I look at the calendar and can hardly believe it’s already December. Didn’t we just start 2025?! Time is going faster and faster and faster, you know?
Yesterday I was talking with my wife about a gift she’d want for Christmas this year, and it dawned on me that we still do this, even as adults — we still have our hearts set on something we’d love to receive, even though we’re (long!) past our childhoods.
That got me wondering — are you the same way? Is there something you’d love to see under the tree or receive from someone you love? Running-related or not?
(For me, I have no real logical reason for wanting one, but there’s a part of me that just really, really wants one of the new Garmin Forerunner running watches. I certainly don’t need one — I already have an Apple Watch — but the gear nerd in me just would love to wear one and see how it works.)
What are you hoping for this holiday season? — Terrell

Hoping for a slow day in the ER😬🤞🏻
Currently in route to San Francisco to depart Sunday on cruise that will take us back to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. Finished 1/2—#—142 last Sunday in Cocoa, FL. Wife’s broken wing (left arm) is continuing to heal … orthopedic doctor cleared us to travel … he said, “Just don’t fall down!” What do I want for Hanukkah? As trite as this sounds, I want continued good health for our extended family … and this includes the gang we call THM Community
