The Olympic runner and author of the new book 'Bravey' on how to come to a 'new understanding' of painful experiences, and the wisdom of the 'rule of thirds'
I need to comment because I have my one good song! I was out for a run today and Mr Blue Sky by ELO came on and it was exactly what I needed to boost my energy. It’s a pretty long song (3:43) and it’s bouncy and makes me think of my brother. https://www.youtube.com/watch/aQUlA8Hcv4s
Yeah, I agree with Steph. It will be very helpful as a self-check on whether I am pushing myself for a good goal, or not aiming high enough. Also, I heard an interview with the author of the exercise book you mentioned on WNPR's Fresh Air this week. It was very interesting.
I have come to accept a bad run as part of training. And I actually feel good about it near the end because I know my next run will be great!
I love that attitude, HHR! 👍

That's so awesome, Devin! The older I get, the more I love anything from the 70s -- I'll have to add this one to my own playlist. 👍

I'll have to check that out!
I love the rule of thirds! It took a while for me to accept bad workouts, but I’ve learned to just brush them off and move on.
