Just a quick note for now, as I stayed up wayyyy too late watching the election returns last night, and got almost no sleep. But for those of you following our training plans, I wanted to make sure I got this week’s miles to you — we have only a couple of weeks to go before you run thirteen miles!

Our training miles for the week
How did your longest long runs go last week? Well, I hope. This week, we taper down to just six miles for those running the 12-week plan, in anticipation for 13.1 miles the following week. Ready? I hope you are — and if you’ve been following the plan, you definitely will be.
Here are the plans for the coming week:
12-week plan:
Thursday, Nov. 10 — 4 miles/40-45 minutes
Saturday, Nov. 12 — 6 miles/60-65 minutes
Sunday, Nov. 13 — 3 miles/30-35 minutes
Tuesday, Nov. 15 — 3 miles/30-35 minutes
Wednesday, Nov. 16 — 5 miles/50-55 minutes
16-week plan:
Thursday, Nov. 10 — 5 miles/50-55 minutes
Saturday, Nov. 12 — 10 miles/100-110 minutes
Sunday, Nov. 13 — 2 miles/20-25 minutes
Tuesday, Nov. 15 — 6 miles/60-65 minutes
