What a wonderful column! I love how kids are so curious and go “all in” with whatever captures their interest and imagination at any given moment. Not being tied to any one specific thing, at that age, is such a healthy way to be. Being exposed to a variety of different activities makes for a well rounded person and a richness of memories. I can’t wait to learn, a year from now, what your son is pursuing with passion and vigor!
My daughter is 9 (going on 19! 😂) and in 4th grade, my son just turned 7 and is in 1st grade. It's all just going by so quickly... This stage has been particularly wonderful, so I'm trying to savor it as much as possible!
Granddaughter’s play at high school is done … daughter can retire “Uber driver “ role now that rehearsals are behind her. Hope someone is taking video of bavkyard passing practice.
Keep that body of yours in football passing shape Terrell. One of my favorite memories was taking a halftime break at watching the Sunday invincible Browns led by the
incomparable #32 Jim Brown and having my Dad throw touchdown pass after touchdown pass to me outdoors while he pretended to be Otto Graham and I was Paul Warfield. Some of my best memories of my fabulous Dad EVER...‼️‼️‼️
Hard not to be infected by a "winning Browns " team in Cleveland. My Dad drove us to Erie Pa in 1964 to see Cleveland win the NFL CHAMPIONSHIP defeating the Baltimore Colts 27-0. The game was blacked out on Cleveland T.V. and since we did not have tickets we drove 90 miles to an Erie motel. Another GREAT memory with my Dad‼️♥️‼️

Thanks so much, Christine! Totally agree with you on everything above -- and I'll keep you posted! 😃
My daughter (almost 12) is prepping for her first school play and she’s OBSESSED! This part of having kids is very, very cool.
Congratulations to your actor 🤩
Thanks, Jenna! And congratulations to your daughter too -- I bet she's obsessed! It's so much fun to watch this, isn't it?
Loved this and fully feel all of it, too, as my kids are doing the same things — constantly growing and evolving. It's beautiful to witness!
It is, isn't it? How old are yours? (We may have talked about this before; please forgive me if I've forgotten!)

Why didn't I think of that? I will have to ask Mrs. T if she'll take some of us -- great idea, Dave!
I loved reading this. I hope I get to experience having my own children discover their passions.
Thanks so much, Aubrey! And I do too, for you! 🙌
This newsletter is almost too real sometimes, Terrell!!!
Thanks so much, Edith!! (I think! 🤣)
Just kidding there -- I *know* you know what I'm talking about!
Definitely. And definitely a compliment!

This is so awesome, Clark! Love, love, love that you have those memories with your dad. So you all were big Cleveland fans, then?
