Love the sentiment today! As far as my run, by the time I was able to get out to run my 5 yesterday the temps hit the low 100's...too crazy to run. So I counted yesterday as a rest day and ran my 5 today....when it was much cooler at 85 and 80% humidity LOL. I'll run my 3 tomorrow and 7 on Saturday...I'm thinking the 3 tomorrow will be a nice easy pace. ;)
I am hoping to participate in the Smuttynose Half Marathon on October 4 at Hampton Beach, NH. As of now the race is still a go. This may change and go virtual. Either way I'm interested in doing a virtual run with all of you! I have enjoyed training so far and look forward to be able to complete my first half marathon whether it's in person or virtual. Thank you for keeping me motivated to run every week!
Welcome new members! Awesome Guthrie quote too. I believe you are Guthrie-like to us, or to me at least, and provide that optimism even in the midst of this pandemic. No cancellation will get us down and you provided the options to more forward with our training and not make this a lost cause. I look forward to the final decision while we continue to train for an unknown event. How cool is that?!
I didn’t get to run yesterday but did Monday Tuesday and Wednesday so I think that makes up for it. Headed out now for today’s run...we do have a run today right? I’m so mixed up lately...but then again I keep saying that so obviously it’s not just “lately”.
I got notifications that the Drag N Fly trail run was cancelled and Martha’s Vineyard too. Fingers crossed that the Manchester By The Sea is still a go while I’m in Massachusetts that weekend. If not, that’s okay too..I guess :(
