Good advice. In my experience, Covid really runs the gamut from no symptoms at all to the very worst outcome and everything in between. This means that what is true for some, may not be the case for others, so individualization in returning to previous activity level is important, along with advice from a medical professional for those who had more severe symptoms, are older, or have any pre-existing conditions.

I was wondering: My husband and I are getting our vaccine Friday morning. Does anyone know? Can we go running afterwards? If I don't feel well the next day, I won't run. I just want to know about right after the vaccine. If I do have a reaction, how long should I wait before I run? Any suggestions??

I swear I had Covid-19 back in late March but because the main tell-all was supposed to a fever, which I didn’t have, I was treated for a sore throat with steroids first, which did nothing, then antibiotics. Because I thought I didn’t have it, in I was still running every morning. I will say that only while running I felt like I couldn’t take in full breath when attempting to run up my normal hills. It was a real struggle. I wish I knew for sure if I did have it back then.

The potential long haul effects are some of what scares me the most about Covid. Thanks for this info. I hope you are feeling much better yourself, Terrell.

I had no idea what a "long-hauler" was until I watched the most recent "Real Sports". Tough stuff for athletes whose #1 stress reliever is exercise.
