Thu~ I think what stands out the most to me is your honesty about running and your personal journey with it. I found myself reading and rereading parts as you seemed to be talking directly to me. So much of what you wrote resonated with me, though I am 20 years older. Three days seems to be the general sweet spot and those days include hills, speed work, and a long tun. Thank you so much for your great share:)
Thanks, Debby! I really hope I’m still running in 20 years. I think the three days has really been so much more sustainable for me, physically and mentally. I hope you get to do what you love for a long time.
Writing (art) and Running Retreats. What a great idea...
I know, right?
So good. Beautiful. I was copying so many lines to paste as highlights, but there were just too many. This series is so great.
Thanks so much, Edith!

Thanks for sharing. And great advice to give any kid!
I loved it too 👏

That’s so kind of you to say. Thanks for reading!

I love everything about your story!
What stands out is the balance you have found, and I can feel the joy you have found.
Also, this whole running retreat thing sounds awfully cool... I need to look into that near me!
love it. really good to read about the runner nextdoor, instead of just the mainstream athletes. 🤜🏻
Thanks, Rob! If you're interested, I'd love to hear/share your story too. Just let me know!
