Good for you. Grandma’s Marathon/ 1/2 in Duluth is a great course. Enter early.

I've always heard great things about that race -- how recently did you run it?

great story. loved the point of never regretting a run. Even a ‘bad’ run feels great afterward!

I loved reading about your running class! I’d never heard of such a thing being offered in college (of course I graduated in the 80s!) I fully agree that motivation can be challenging, but as you shared so well, it sure feels good afterwards. Never a regret☺️

I am very lucky with my school's offerings they have every sports under the sun - volleyball, tennis, ice skating even :)

Oh my goodness! I love reading this stories--and especially when we get to see "faces" from THM community....Reading this made me remember that I also signed up for a running class in college...I'd forgotten all about that segment of my own history....Thanks to you both! D

That's great. I get to run in the middle of the streets when the country is shut down for military operations. The past two days the area where I live has been evacuated, but the weather is outstanding, in the 65-75 Deg F with light winds. During the day, super quiet, with some military related noises from a few kilometers down the road. Otherwise absolutely stunning running weather.

A running class sounds so cool ! A nice way to learn about the sport and the basics with others without necessarily a competitive edge (hopefully) -- good luck with your next half marathon !
