Nike/Adidas gear is on my kids' list...for working out. ...I was hoping for a Garmin watch... maybe Santa will be leaving one under the tree! They have some in the lower price ranges.
All I want for Christmas is in person races in Washington! I did sign up for the half marathon in Sammamish that was on your list last week. Race is in March and I got my fingers crossed!
I went to Havana a couple of years ago when the cruise lines were still allowed to go there. Had the best time ever, even though it was August and hot as hell. We had to endure a little propaganda speech at the beginning but after that, the island was ours to explore. There were no tee shirt or garbage trinket vendors... I picked up a couple of bottles of rum, a few cigars for my son-in-law and two pounds of just made Cuban coffee beans...
We scheduled another cruise but they stopped going there... As our travel agent said, and I concur, it's the safest spot on Earth. No one there wants to be the one to screw it up and upset tourists which is their life blood. The food was great, the nightclubs had fantastic shows and
best of all, the people went out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend this trip to anyone... One more note... you can rent a 50's style car and driver for four hours to take you almost anywhere around the island for under $100... it beats the busses and cabs..
