Good morning, everyone! ☀️
If you live in the U.S., then you’re waking up to Mother’s Day — a holiday that can bring up different emotions for each of us, and, as each year passes, fills me with gratitude for my own mom and reminds me there are many, many different kinds of mothers, and they all should be celebrated; it’s also graduation season, so a lot of us are saying goodbye (for now) to our young ones; and it’s day 14 of our May running challenge… so, we’ve got a lot going on right now!
Spring so far, for me, busier and more active than I’m used to, largely because our oldest is graduating from high school — which brings up all of the emotions, all of the time going down memory lane in my mind. Time is both speeding up and slowing down in the same moment, if that makes any sense.
It’s been especially great to hear from you all each day in the Chat section of our app, as we share our daily progress toward our May running goals — I wanted you to know how much each of you have inspired me to stick with it and not give up, which is something my body has tried to persuade me to do more than once this month.
Have a great, great run out there today — and, as always, keep in touch.
Your friend,
— Terrell
