It brings me back to happy times in Rathkenny as a child with Gran, aunts and uncles welcoming feeding laughing and loving. What a haven I had as a child.
You are welcome T, and thanks, I am. But still struggling with motivation to run for no good reason. I will keep trying. I shared this one with my sons -35 & 33. We are looking to run a half together this fall but haven’t decided which yet. So I need to get in gear and be ready.
Cross/training through bike riding is going well and I love it. Hope to get 20 in tomorrow morning early. I did 24 on Tues and 16 early last Sat. I know it helps me a lot with running but if I do not get back to the running part soon it may be harder.
My pleasure Terrell. The question I struggle with is how do we help more parents to become the parents you and I strive to be. How do we encourage more parents to be their child deserves. IMO parenting is a 2 person job. We need to take care of our own. We need to love them fiercely even when they are awful teenage boys (my problem). The work is hard. We need a shift and there are communities in need of much more than money. More love less blame and hatred❤️💪🏻
One small good thing is what makes our blood flow as a people. My heartaches for the families whose son or daughter was taken from them in this horrific tragedy. No words really.

Thanks for writing your thoughts instead of ignoring. It helps me process things hearing other peoples emotions.
